John W Fitzpatrick
John Fitzpatrick coaches for all written examinations in Music and also gives tuition in theoretical subjects and composition apart from examination work.
Tuition is entirely individual; courses are flexible and the subject matter is chosen to suit the particular needs of each student.
Lessons are also carried on by means of a large and varied range of manuscript notes, exercises and solutions. The individual nature of the tuition is emphasised, the method being made to approach as near to individual personal contact as can be, and if short cuts are possible, they are taken at once. Additional information or explanation of points arising from the student's work is gladly given when required.
Provision is made for B.Mus. candidates who need preliminary work for the 'Exercise'.
Lessons are usually taken at weekends or fortnightly intervals. It is, of course, to the benefit of the student to work regularly and send work on a fixed day, either weekly or fortnightly. In these cases, every endeavour is made to reply by return of post.
All work receives my personal attention, and the aim is to make progress as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.
